6 Tips for Making the Perfect Smoothie

Are you a smoothie enthusiast or an amazing smoothie makin’ superhero? Maybe you’re making first attempts at creating your own smoothies (with all the awesome blender options today, wouldn’t want to give it a try?). Wherever you are in the development of smoothie-making skills, you probably know that there are endless combinations of ingredients available to whip up a yummy and nutritious creamy cup of cold deliciousness!

6 Tips for the Perfect Smoothie

How to make the perfect smoothie:

1. The proper ratio for liquids to greens is 1:1 (trust us on that).

2. For the best greens blending, blend greens with liquids before adding in other bits of fun.

3. The big question: yogurt, milk, almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, juice…which is best? We say—go with your taste buds. You might even enjoy a combination of a little bit of all of them (OK, maybe not).

4. Freeze your fruit – it helps to make a smoothie cold and creamy.
