You can’t always get the logistics of a night out to line up in your favor. But that doesn’t mean you can’t recreate the same enchanting feeling of a table for two in a dimly lit room from the comfort of your own home. Spread the holiday table cloth over the dining room table and break out the good China (or just, you know, something not made of paper). A pair of nice taper candles and a little mood music will go a long way towards transforming the atmosphere.
You know the old adage, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”? It’s true, but there’s no need to stop there. Vamp up your style and be a feast for his eyes while preparing a feast for his plate. Protect your little black dress with a funky-cute retro apron while cooking. If you’re feeling daring – and not particularly concerned about getting to the food portion of dinner – wear heels, the apron and nothing else. You’re sure to enjoy yourself at the dinner table…and on the kitchen floor and against the wall…but, I digress.
Whether it’s a special occasion or a run-of-the-mill Monday, make it an affair to remember. Enjoy the sensual pleasures of cooking together; tasting the sauces, touching as you maneuver around each other in the small space, turning up the heat, literally and figuratively, while you exchange sexy glances.
Just remember, Bombshells, romance is a state of mind, not a location on a map. You can create a sensual and seductive setting, any time and anywhere. Below is a delicious recipe sure to whet your appetite and tantalize your taste buds.
