Small fall confession: I’m not a big fan of pumpkin. But bring on the apples! Cobbler, crumbles, pie, donuts—that fresh apple flavor, spiked with cinnamon, wrapped into a warm, baked treat? I’d eat an apple dessert every day if I could. That’s why I keep these healthy smoothies in rotation through the autumn season. They capture the tempting taste of my favorite treats, without all the sugar, fat or guilt.
Apple-Cinnamon Flax Smoothie
1 cup apple, chopped
 8 oz. coconut water
 4 raw almonds
 1 tsp. vanilla extract
 ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 
 1/2 scoop cinnamon swirl protein powder
 1 Tbsp. flaxseed meal
 Ice
Combine all ingredients in blender; pulse for about 15 seconds.
Apple-Cinnamon Oat Shake
3/4 cup almond milk
 1/2 cup rolled oats
 6 oz. plain Greek yogurt
 1/2 medium apple, cored/roughly chopped
 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 
 Optional:ice
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Honey Apple & Cinnamon Smoothie
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
 1 tsp. honey
 1 ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 
 1 apple, cored/peeled/chopped
 ½ banana cut in pieces
 ½ cup water
 1 cup ice
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Apple Cinnamon-Bun Protein Shake
3/4 cup light vanilla almond milk
 3 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
 1 cup peeled/chopped Fuji apples
 1 scoop Muscle Pharm Combat Powder Cinnamon Bun
 1 packet sweetener Truvia Nature’s Calorie Free Sweetener
 5 – 8 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Gluten-Free & Vegan Green Apple-Cinnamon Smoothie
1 apple, cored and chopped
 1-2 cups fresh spinach or kale
 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
 1 banana cut in pieces
 ¼ tsp. cinnamon
 4 ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
