Tart yet sweet, plump and juicy, cherries and chocolate pair perfectly—in luscious layered cakes, elegant candies and chewy, chunky cookies. But have you considered the combo for breakfast? Like blueberry pancakes, a cherry-studded stack is an easy way to squeeze in fruit nutrition first thing in the morning. Add a scoop of chocolate whey powder and you get dessert-like flavor plus a powerful protein punch. Serve these drizzled with syrup for a breakfast treat, or have them pre or post workout in place of your usual protein shake.
