Blackberry-Honey Marinade for Steak
Ingredients
6 oz. fresh blackberries
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
½ cup raw honey
1/3 cup liquid aminos
1 Tbsp. lime juice
3 cloves garlic
6 sprigs fresh thyme
¼ cup fresh basil
2 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. white pepper
1/3 tsp. dried rosemary
Directions
- In a medium pot over high heat, bring all ingredients to a boil.
- Use the back of a wooden spoon to mash berries and incorporate into sauce.
- Remove from heat and strain into food processor to ensure it’s entirely liquid.
- Coat steak with marinade and refrigerate meat for 1-4 hours. Cook steak as desired.
