Sundays should be a day of rest. I know what you’re thinking: “Rest? What’s that?” Even if you can’t sit and relax all day, try to keep your must-do list light and easy. If nothing else, here’s one indulgent treat you can squeeze in between working out and working on several mountains of laundry. Simple-to-make, sweet-tooth-approved protein bites will not only fuel your muscles but give you the energy to chug through the day’s duties. All you need is five ingredients, a mixing bowl and your hands. Ready, set…take five. 

Oat & Honey Protein Energy Bites

Cashew, Honey & Oat Protein Bites

Makes 16 balls

Ingredients

1 scoop NutriWhey Vanilla Protein Powder
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup cashew butter
2 Tbsp. spreadable honey
2 Tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
Sugar-free chocolate syrup for drizzling and sprinkles for decorating

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix until well combined.
  2. Divide and roll dough into 16 balls.
  3. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and add sprinkles, if desired.
  4. Enjoy right away or refrigerate for later.
