Many brownies claim to be fudgy…fudgier…the fudgiest! Undoubtedly, it’s every baker’s goal. But this protein-packed version could actually pass as little squares of fudge. The consistency is dense with chocolate flavor, yet creamy like butter on bread. Even whole chunks of sweet red cherries don’t define these treats as brownies. Perhaps the only way to tell them apart is to try one.
