Yes, you can have chunks of chocolate without becoming a chunky monkey. Just be smart about your indulgence. What to look for in a guilt-free, chocolate chip cookie: chunks of dark chocolate (not that wimpy-tasting milk stuff), pure and alcohol-free vanilla flavoring, monounsaturated fats and significant fiber and protein to reduce the sugar-bomb effect. With the right ingredients on hand, you’ll have these too-good-to-be-true treats ready in 10 minutes.

Chocolate Chunk Protein Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup oat flour
½ cup almond flour
½ cup coconut sugar
1 scoop protein powder (vanilla works best)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 egg
¼ cup coconut oil, melted

Directions

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until it’s a dough-like consistency.

Add 1 cup dark chocolate chips.

Form the dough into balls and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes.
