Cinnamon-Honey Garlic Toast

It starts with a tickle or a scratch. Something’s not quite right. Usually, you listen to your gut when it comes to your health, but this would be a good time to let your throat do the talking. It’s aching and it needs a good one-two punch of wholesome goodness. Cue the throat-coating combo that is honey, cinnamon and garlic. On a simple piece of bread, the sweet meets the strong. It then gets toasted for a warm, flavorful slice of soothing.

Honey-Cinnamon Garlic Toast

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 clove raw garlic
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 Tbsp. raw honey
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 slices millet toast or sprouted grain bread

Directions

  1. Crush raw garlic and let sit 5 minutes on cutting board.
  2. In a small bowl, combine garlic, coconut oil, honey and cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. Toast bread to desired doneness. Spread mixture onto toasted bread and enjoy!
