“The question is not what you look at, but what you see.”
~Henry David Thoreau
I had LASIK surgery 14 years ago. Loved it. There was nothing quite like coming out of it being able to see clearly and beautifully. For awhile.
My vision regressed (it happens to a small percentage of people), so I went back to my eye surgeon. He explained what happened and offered to do it again for half the price.
Now I’m wicked into bargaining and haggling (I love yard sales and street sales and flea markets), but lemme tell ya something, I won’t bargain and haggle when it comes to my eyes.
I smiled, said “Yes, please,” and made the appointment.
The second surgery went great, and my eyesight is 20/20 again.
My surgeon has his patients come back a bazillion times to check their eyes and make sure all is well. During one of my follow-up appointments, my eyesight wasn’t as stellar.
He pushed on my eyelids really hard and asked me to look at the chart again. Boom! Amazing eyesight was back. Huh? The doc said that I have gunk in my tear ducts (we all do) that inhibits my vision, and pushing on my eyelids helps clear it up. Who knew?
He then asked me if I take flaxseed or fish oil supplements.
“Uh, no, why?” I asked.
“They will help, a lot,” he explained.
So off to Vitacost I went, and I ordered the Vitacost Flaxseed/Fish Oil Complex. Best ever! Try these softgels out. They’re great for you””omega 3s, baby!
Have the best day ever!
Namaste!
