Coconut & Cocoa Overnight Oats

They go together like eggs and bacon, biscuits and gravy or pancakes and syrup. But it’s not often you find that perfect combo of coconut and chocolate in a breakfast dish. Tastier than those joyful candy bars and better for you than the usual grab-and-go morning meal, these overnight oats bring together dessert-like flavor and notable nutrition (with protein, fiber, omegas, antioxidants and more) for a sweet and healthy start to your day.

Coconut & Cocoa Overnight Oats

Ingredients

Oatmeal layer
½ cup rolled oats
2 Tbsp. non-fat Greek yogurt
½ cup unsweetened almond milk
½ tsp. coconut flavoring
2 tsp. chia seeds
½ Tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes

Cocoa layer
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ scoop chocolate protein powder
¼ cup non-fat Greek yogurt

Directions

  1. In separate bowls, mix together oatmeal layer ingredients and cocoa layer ingredients.
  2. Layer mixtures in container of choice.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Top with additional coconut flakes and mini chocolate chips, if desired, before eating.
