“It goes straight to my thighs.” “I’ll feel bloated for days.” “I don’t have time for food coma right now.” The list of complaints goes on and on. Yes, bread can be naughty…unless it’s made with nice ingredients. Whole grain oats, creamy Greek yogurt and rich white chocolate chips create a light loaf that loves you back. Even better, it doesn’t need peanut butter or jelly to fool you. The taste and texture speak for themselves.  

 Dessert Bread Recipe: Cookies & Cream

Cookies ‘n Cream Protein Bread

Makes 8 servings
Macros for 1 serving: 73 calories | 5.8 g protein | 7 g carbs | 2.3 g fat | 1 g fiber | 2.6 g sugar

Ingredients

½ cup oat flour
1 scoop Giant Sports Cookies and Creme Protein Powder
3 Tbsp. baking stevia
1 Tbsp. white chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. milk chocolate chips
3 Tbsp. plain Greek yogurt (or 2 Tbsp. applesauce)
2 Tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
½ tsp. baking powder
1 large egg

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and coat a mini loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine egg, yogurt and almond milk. Whisk together until mixture is smooth.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake 30-34 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let cool 30 minutes, slice into 8 even pieces and serve!
