Dabbling with detox this January? If so, a green smoothie may be on your list of things to try. While leafy, nutrient-dense vegetables are a great addition to your drink, don’t skip out on fiber- and antioxidant-rich fruit! Since berries aren’t in season yet, although you can get them frozen year round, grab a juicy, ripe pear and toss it in your blender along with a bunch of your favorite greens and some nutritious seeds. This smoothie is brimming with 17 grams of fiber, 14 grams of protein and 33% of the recommended daily amount of calcium. You’ll feel clean, fueled and energized all morning long!
