Welcome to 2013 — a new year, signifying new beginnings. Naturally, this is the time to make our New Year’s resolutions. And after all that holiday eating, you’re probably eager to make some changes. The sad reality, however, is that most resolutions only last 3 to 14 days. Your car doesn’t run out of gas that quickly, so why should you? Make this year different by resolving to evolve…into a better version of yourself.

On my numerous consultations with people around the world, I have found a common thread: many people know what to do but lack the motivation or drive to take action. For these clients, I offer some words of wisdom: “It’s not knowing what to do, but rather doing what you know.” Keep in mind, though, nothing happens overnight. It has been proven that it takes 28 days for a habit to really stick, which means you’ll need to keep “doing what you know” for at least four weeks.
That’s why my New Year’s Evolution program is a four-week guide to help you prepare, execute, maintain and evaluate your transformation. I’m not going to let you give up before you’ve even started, because I know you really want to make a difference and create positive changes in your life (if you didn’t, you wouldn’t be reading this). Instead, you’ll have my tough-love plan to give that kick in the glutes you need for a strong start to a new year — and new you!
Come back next Wednesday for Week One of my New Year’s Evolution. I can’t wait to get started!
