If It Feels Right, Do It

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them”“that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

““Lao-Tzu

While our family was in France this summer, we had planned to go to the Jardin d’Acclimation, our fave park in Paris, one afternoon.

But something didn’t feel right. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I knew we shouldn’t go.

Instead, it felt right to stay in our “hood” and walk the streets near Notre Dame. Hang out in those little parks and get gelato, then  go to  the Latin Quarter and check out La Plage, a “beach” in the city along the Seine created by the mayor.

So we did. And it was all fantastic and easy.

Later that night, we learned that there had been an accident, and the traffic to and from Jardin d’Acclimation was hor-rendous.

Had we stuck to our “plan,” we woulda spent hours in the car and very few outside enjoying the day.

If it feels right, do it.

If not, let it go. No matter what you’ve “planned.”

Have the best day ever!

Namaste!
