Trying to unlock a car that looks a lot like yours is a bad mix up. Combining blueberries and raspberries in one sweet dessert is a good mix up. See the difference? In order to not risk losing more than a few slices of pie, it’s best to stick with the good kind of mix-ups – the ones that reward you with a sugary oat crumble. Exhibit A: from the protein-packed crust to the berry-licious filling, there will be no confusion that this mixed berry pie recipe lets you plead “not guilty.”

Mixed Berry Pie Recipe

Crust

Follow this protein pie crust recipe, or omit the crust to make a berry crumble instead.

Filling

2 cups fresh berries
2 Tbsp. oat flour
2 Tbsp. coconut sugar

Crumble

¾ cup old fashioned oats
¾ cup oat flour
¼ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. coconut oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare crust as directed, if using.
  2. In a medium bowl, add filling ingredients, gently mixing so berries are coated but not mashed. Pour into greased pie pan or over pie crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine crumble ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Spoon crumble over berries. Bake 30 minutes, or until berries begin to bubble.
