Researchers from the University of California, San Diego, looked at the association between bone mineral density (BMD) and the dietary intake of omega-6/omega-3 EFAs in more than 1,500 men and women over a four-year period. They concluded a more balanced intake of omega-6s to omega-3s may support healthy bones. These latest findings were published in the prestigious American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Together, DHA and EPA may support bone, cardiovascular and circulatory health, as well as normal inflammatory response. There’s no question that fish oils are one of the most powerful and important nutrients you can take. Please remember, it is important that the product be free of any contaminants or toxins that can be found in fish products, such as hazardous mercury.
