Admit it: You’ve taken a slice of birthday cake, only to discretely scrape off every ounce of icing to keep the cal-count down. The thing is, without icing, cake is hardly worth the wait. If you’re truly dedicated to cleaning up your act but don’t want to announce it to the world or come across as the party-pooper, this recipe is for you. These chocolate-drizzled, peanut butter protein blondies have a moist, cake-like texture, making them the perfect celebratory dessert. Circle the next office birthday on your calendar and volunteer to bring the goods. At 4 grams of protein per square, there’s no room for regrets or remorse.
