You worked out hard. Be a rebel and have a cookie. It’s not really that crazy of an idea, especially when the cookie is bursting with muscle-supporting protein while falling short on added sugar. This particular peanut butter-chocolate chip recipe is not only a smart treat but a satisfying one. Thanks to a trifecta of peanut butter-based ingredients, the nuttiness shines through.

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies

Ingredients

3/4 cup peanut flour
2 scoops peanut butter protein powder
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients (excluding chocolate chips).
  2. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Drop batter onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 tablespoons per cookie.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 8-10 minutes, or until the bottoms are golden brown.
