Ingredients
- 3-1/4 sticks of unsalted butter room temperature
- 1-3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups pecan halves
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line 9x13" pan with parchment paper.

In medium bowl, combine 2-1/4 sticks of butter with 3/4 cup brown sugar and use hand mixer to beat until light and fluffy.

Add 1/2 tsp. of salt and flour. Mix until dough forms into large clumps.

Press dough into prepared pan, fork-prick crust and chill for 20 minutes.

Bake for 20 minutes and allow crust to cool completely.

Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F.

In medium saucepan over high heat, add remaining butter, brown sugar, honey, granulated sugar and salt.

Stir together, bring to boil and cook until mixture thickens.

Remove from heat, stir in pecans and vanilla and pour mixture over the cooled crust.

Bake for 25 minutes or until filling is bubbling.

Let it cool completely before cutting and serving.
