Pineapple & Black Bean Guacamole Party Dip

You don’t have to be hosting a fancy fiesta to enjoy this zesty dip! This chunky guacamole recipe combines the tasty Mexican flavors you already love (cumin, cilantro? yes, please!) with sweet, juicy pineapple. Perfect for a midday snack or game day, this easy-to-make dish is a culinary win.

Pineapple & Black Bean Guacamole Dip and Chips |

2 medium avocados, halved, seeded & peeled
1/4 cup salsa verde
1 tbsp. sour cream
4 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup Simple Truth organic refried black beans, rinsed & drained
1 fresh jalapeno chili pepper, seeded & minced
2 tbsps. red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsps. fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
1 tbsp. lime juice
1/4 tsp. Simple Truth organic ground cumin
1/4 tsp. salt
1 bag tortilla chips


  1. In large bowl, mash avocados.
  2. Stir in salsa and sour cream until combined. Mix in pineapple, beans, jalapeno, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt and cumin.
  3. Cover and chill for two hours or until ready to eat. Serve with tortilla chips.
