Protein-Packed Trail Mix

Everyone’s had a snack attack. You’re bored, you’re overthinking something or maybe you’re sincerely hungry. Your natural instinct is to eat whatever’s within arm’s reach. The problem with that is that you could fall victim to processed-beyond-imagination food that has no real evidence of being food. Fight back by attacking your snack spell with a fistful of fully recognizable, protein-packed trail mix.

Protein-Rich Trail Mix Recipe

Ingredients

1 scoop NLA Her Whey Chocolate Éclair Protein Powder
¼ cup peanuts
¼ cup pistachios
¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
¼ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup honey-almond granola
2 tsp. honey
1 tsp. coconut oil, melted

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine nuts, coconut flakes, chocolate chips and granola.
  2. Stir in melted coconut oil and honey, mixing until everything is coated.
  3. Add scoop of protein powder and stir until covered.

That’s it! Throw your trail mix in an easy-to-tote storage container or plastic zip-top bag and never be without.
