Puppy Parfait: A Fruit-Filled Frozen Treat

Ingredients

Ice Cream

Layers & Toppings

  • Your pup’s favorite fruits

Optional Toppings & Garnishes

  • Unsalted crushed peanuts roasted or raw
  • Dog treats
  • Nutritional supplement powders

Instructions

  1. To make ice cream, place ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into an airtight container and freeze 4-5 hours or until firm.
  3. In the pawfait dish, spoon a bit of the ice cream for the bottom layer. Add a layer of sliced or chopped fruit, then continue alternating layers of ice cream and fruit.
  4. Garnish top with crushed peanuts or dog treats. Sprinkle with a healthy supplement powder if desired.

Recipe Notes

  • If ice cream is too hard to scoop, let sit out one hour
  • Use coconut yogurt in place of dairy yogurt if your dog can't digest dairy
