Or is it? A little time in the kitchen will save you from the tsunami of sugar, fat and artificial ingredients in ordinary grab-and-go candy bars. Chocolate Ingredients: 1 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
Caramel Ingredients:
1 cup pre-soaked pitted dates
3 Tbsp. coconut nectar
2 Tbsp. almond butter
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
1-1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Other Ingredients:
1 cup raw peanuts
Directions:
- Combine chocolate ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Combine caramel ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Coat the bottom and sides of muffin tin wells with chocolate.
- Layer in caramel, and then top with peanuts.
- Add another layer of chocolate to completely cover other ingredients.
- Place in the freezer for 1 to 3 hours.
