Red Velvet Protein Brownies

It doesn’t need to be Valentine’s Day to indulge in a red velvet dessert. But you do need to have an extra-sweaty workout to really revel in this made-over brownie. Serve a square with a glass of almond milk and consider the sweet, protein-packed treat a reward for your muscles’ hard work. Brownies and milk: they do a body good.

Healthy Red Velvet Brownies

Ingredients
2 scoops red velvet protein powder
1 1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2 egg whites

Directions
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients until smooth.
Pour batter into greased 8″ x 8″ baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
