Screw Patience

“Patience is only a virtue you have to develop when you want things that you’re resistant to.”

-Abraham-Hicks

I love Abraham-Hicks. I also like “The Secret.” They’re both very comprehensive ways of accessing and understanding what’s ruling yo’ life (whether you know it or not): The Law of Attraction and Deliberate Creation.

Here are the CliffsNotes on the Law of Attraction: Whatever I put out comes back to me. Multiplied. Always. This is law.

CliffsNotes on Deliberate Creation: Whatever I focus on, think about and talk about, I am creating. Whether it’s wanted or unwanted.

“The Universe always yields to the most practiced vibration,” Abraham-Hicks says. What you practice, you create. So it behooves you to practice what you like. And practicing what you preach don’t hurt either.

Sometimes people ask me why other yoga studios open and close within a year and Prana Power Yoga has been around for over a decade. “Was it your business plan?” they ask. Naw, didn’t have one. Well, actually we did: “To teach yoga to a lot of people and help them to remember who they are, transform and create the BEST LIFE EVER.”

What I tell people who ask is that we walk our talk. It’s that simple. Everything else falls into place.

So walk your talk. And patience? A virtue? Screw patience. The only time you need it is when you have a lot of resistance around something you want.* Best way to melt resistance off your body and out of your mind? Get on your yoga mat.

Have the best day ever!

Namaste!
