Orange may be everywhere this time of year, but that doesn’t mean you should forget your greens! With this colorful smoothie, you not only get the best flavors of the season (mmm, pumpkin!) but also a serving of antioxidant- and vitamin-rich spinach and a protein boost. Not overly sweet like some popular pumpkin drinks, it makes an energizing breakfast beverage on chilly fall mornings or a refreshing post-workout treat.

Sweet Green Pumpkin Smoothie

Makes 1

Ingredients

12 oz. unsweetened almond milk
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Pinch cinnamon
Pinch pumpkin pie spice
Ice

Directions

In blender, combine all ingredients; blend until smooth.
