A sandwich isn’t a sandwich without a light slathering of mayo. But if dairy and eggs are off limits, you may feel forced to leave your bread bare. There’s a solution to this vegan diet dilemma, and it’s as easy as pour, mix and spread. A combination of apple cider vinegar, olive oil and Dijon mustard mimics the tangy flavor of real mayonnaise, while a scoop of pea protein powder adds creaminess and a plant-powered nutrition boost. Say hello to healthier hoagies and wonderful-tasting wraps! This creation can also be enjoyed as a dip or base for homemade salad dressing.

I love adding freshly ground black pepper, chipotle powder and fresh or dried parsley to my pea mayo!
