Vegan Raw Cacao & Peppermint Fudge

‘Twas the night before the big holiday potluck, and all through your kitchen, there were gluten-free flours, non-dairy milks and flax eggs for baking. Who says healthy can’t be a hit? Show off your no-bake dessert-making skills with this velvety vegan fudge, fashioned from creamy coconut butter, raw cacao powder and a splash of mint extract for extra cheer. I promise: sugar sprinkles and red dye #40 won’t be missed!

Recipe: Minty Cacao Fudge


1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 cup almond butter
3/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. coconut butter


1. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients.
2. Pour mixture into a pan and spread evenly.
3. Freeze overnight or until solid.
