Walnut & Cannellini Bean Pate
Ingredients
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup cooked cannellini beans (or beans of choice)
2 flax “eggs”*
1 clove garlic, diced
Black pepper to taste
Juice from half of a lemon
Flaxseed meal
*To make a flax “egg,” combine ¼ cup + 2 Tbsp. flaxseed meal with 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. water; let sit for three minutes.
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
- Serve chilled.
