Unlike the ones from your childhood, these easy, “cheesy,” better-for-you pizza rolls are gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Using just a handful of ingredients, pizza sauce and plant-based “cheese” are stuffed inside a doughy casing and cooked to golden-on-the-outside, melty-on-the-inside excellence. Perfect for anything from after school snacking to a mid-day bite, the whole family will enjoy these finger food favorites.

			Ingredients
Dough
- 2-3/4 cups King Arthur Gluten-Free Flour
 - 1 cup hot water
 - 1 Tbsp. sea salt
 - Olive oil

Filling
- 1-1/2 cups vegan cheese finely shredded
 - 1-1/2 cups Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce

Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
 -
In medium bowl, blend flour and salt. Add water slowly, until dough is only slightly sticky. Let rest at room temperature at least 10 minutes.
 -
On floured surface, knead the dough for a couple minutes. Roll out to 1/8”-thickness. Cut rectangles, approximately 1.5"x3" each.
 -
Mix together sauce and cheese until well combined.
 -
In center of each roll, place a teaspoon filling. Moisten the sides; fold dough in half, lengthwise, so that it forms a filled rectangle. Press edges lightly to seal.
 -
Arrange pizza rolls on baking sheet. Brush each with a small amount of olive oil. Sprinkle cheese on top, if desired.
 -
Bake 25 to 28 minutes or until golden and crisp.
