Blood Orange Chocolate Truffles

Almond, raspberry, caramel, even coffee—of all flavors, none pairs as perfectly with dark chocolate than sweet, sunny, citrusy orange. You could unwrap a candy bar, but for an especially indulgent treat, try these homemade truffles made with pure cacao, hemp seeds and a velvety, blood orange-infused oil.

Cacao-Blood Orange Truffles

Ingredients

¾ cup hemp seeds
2 Tbsp. cacao powder
1 Tbsp. blood orange infused olive oil
1 Tbsp. water
4 drops vanilla stevia or 1 tsp. raw honey

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse until well combined.
  2. Scoop out truffles by the tablespoon, roll into balls.
  3. Chill or serve immediately.

Nutritional info (per truffle): 103 calories, 8 grams fat, 2 grams carbs, 2 grams fiber, 1 gram sugar, 5 grams protein
