Ingredients
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 cup turbinado sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup molasses
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. New Chapter Fermented Organic Turmeric Booster Powder
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 4 oz. candied ginger coarsely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheet with baking paper.

In large bowl, use hand mixer to mix together butter and sugar. Mix in egg, molasses and vanilla.

In separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients. Slowly beat dry ingredients into wet. Fold in crystallized ginger and chia seeds. Chill in refrigerator 15 minutes.

Using spoon, scoop dough into uniform balls 1” in diameter or less. Arrange balls on prepared baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
