4-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate-Walnut Ice Cream
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. cacao powder
 2 cups walnuts
 1 cup maple syrup*
 2 cups water
 (Optional: 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract / ½ tsp. sea salt)
*Honey can be used in place of maple syrup, but the ice cream will not be vegan.
Directions
- In high-speed blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and fluffy.
 - Freeze ice cream overnight, or freeze for just a few hours until firm and blend again for extra-creamy ice cream.
 
Variations:
- For extra chocolaty flavor, add more cacao powder.
 - For extra sweetness, add more maple syrup.
 - Use sunflower seeds or hemp seeds in place of walnuts.
