Most of us avoid pasta because of the high carb count and not much else, nutritionally speaking. Black bean pasta, however, is loaded with fiber and wholesomeness. Whisk together this delicious sauce made with sunflower seed butter and coconut aminos, and you’ll be in heaven! Besides topping off a vegan dish loaded with 33 grams of plant-based protein, it’s almost as easy to prepare as popping open a jar of marinara.
Ingredients
2-oz. (1 serving) dry black bean pasta
2 Tbsp. sunflower seed butter
2 Tbsp. coconut aminos
2 Tbsp. organic coconut milk, BPA free can
1 clove garlic, crushed
¼ tsp. organic maple syrup
Directions
