Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting with Protein

Chocolate’s in the air. Oh, wait. That’s supposed to be love, isn’t it? Either way, something that sweet never goes unnoticed. You can spot it – or sniff it – a mile away, at which point you’re instantly drawn in. Don’t let these powers go to waste. Like a siren, you can use chocolate frosting to lure the ones you love. The thick, creamy coating couples with everything from almond muffins and apples to plain-Jane toast and pancakes. The fact that you’ll only dirty one bowl to whip it together is pure love in itself.

3 scoops (about 150 g) chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
16 oz. fat-free cream cheese, at room temperature

Directions: In a large bowl using an electric mixer (or your muscles), beat together all ingredients until smooth. Frosting should be thick and creamy.
