Grilled Orange-Cilantro Shrimp

Let burgers and dogs take a backseat at your next barbecue! These Grilled Orange-Cilantro Shrimp are just as easy to make but add a touch of elegance to any party platter. Toss with fresh-squeezed OJ, olive oil, cilantro and a little minced jalapeno to kick up flavor. Cooking time is just five minutes””leaving you plenty of time to mingle with your guests.

Grilled Orange-Cilantro Shrimp

Serves 4

Ingredients

1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Juice of 2 large oranges
1 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more for grill
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. finely chopped cilantro
1 jalapeno, seeded and minced

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; toss to coat. Cover bowl and place in the fridge for 20 minutes

2. Heat the grill to medium heat. Add oil to grill when hot. Grill shrimp until opaque throughout, approximately 5 minutes, flipping once.

3. Transfer to a platter and serve.
