Craving a sweet treat? You can still enjoy cookies, cake, pies and all of your favorite desserts as part of a clean eating lifestyle. Simply replace refined white sugar in your recipes with a natural sweetener, such as stevia. Extracted from the leaves of the stevia plant, this remarkable substance has an exceptionally sweet taste, zero calories, and it can be used in just about any recipe that calls for sugar.

Try all-natural Truvia stevia granules in your baking recipes. Click here to order!

Stevia is available in powder, granule or liquid form. Because it’s so much sweeter than sugar, you’ll use less of it when baking and sweetening beverages. For recipes, try a spoonable stevia, such as Stevita Spoonable or Truvia. Here’s a simple conversion guide.

  • 1 cup sugar = 1/3 cup + 1-1/2 Tbsp. stevia
  • 1/2 cup sugar = 3-1/2 Tbsp. stevia
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar = 1-1/4 tsp. stevia
  • 1 tsp. sugar = 3/8 tsp. stevia

Taste may vary according to brand, so experiment with amounts until you find the level of sweetness that’s right for you!
