Admit it, you’ve been craving something crunchy. Want chips? You won’t go all the way and indulge in conventional salt-coated potato chips—kale chips are more your style. But there are other better-for-you options out there that can satisfy your munchies. To get you started, here’s a tangy, citrusy recipe that you can whip up in less than 20 minutes. These chips can be made with any of your favorite tortillas or wraps and seasoned with spices of your preference. Happy crunching!

Homemade Citrus Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted
4 large tortillas or wraps
½ tsp. smoked paprika
1-½ Tbsp. kosher salt
1 lemon, zested
1 lime, juiced and zested

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine coconut oil, lime juice, salt and paprika. Use a basting brush to cover both sides of tortillas or wraps with lime mixture.
  3. Arrange coated tortillas in a stack and cut to desired shape and size. Place onto a large baking sheet (use two, if necessary), leaving a space between each chip.
  4. Sprinkle with zest.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
  6. Serve with salsa, guacamole, hummus or other dip.
