Baked Kale Chips with Olive Oil & Sea Salt

Next time you’re craving chips, popcorn or your salty indulgence of choice, go green and try munching on some baked kale chips instead. Not only will they give you the same delightful crunch, but they’ll also provide the nourishment most prepackaged savory snacks are so sorely lacking. Baking the kale with olive oil and sea salt will bring in the chip flavor you’re used to, and they take only 15 minutes to whip up. There’s no excuse not to give them a shot! If you’re feeling colorful, pair them with beet chips, sweet potato chips or spicy radish chips.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. Simple Truth Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. coarse sea salt
6 cups organic baby kale

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
  2. On baking sheet, arrange kale and toss with olive oil and salt.
  3. Bake 15 minutes, flipping at halfway point.
