Red lips? It must be all those wine sips. Drinking red wine in the morning just became acceptable, thanks to this resveratrol-infused kombucha smoothie. While this recipe is free of alcohol, you’ll be buzzed on antioxidants and the effervescent tea. Enjoy the “berry” bubbly quencher first thing in the morning or for a midday lift. The lip stain will look good no matter what time it is.
Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds, blended together
2/3 cup kombucha
1 tsp. Reserveage Nutrition Resveratrol Cellular Age-Defying Tonic
1 cup organic seedless red grapes
1-2 cups ice
Directions
1. In a blender, add pomegranate seeds and blueberries. Blend until well mixed.
2. Strain out the seeds, leaving the blend of berries and pomegranate. Transfer berry mixture to a high-speed blender.
3. Add kombucha, grapes and resveratrol tonic. Blend until smooth.
4. Add ice and blend again until desired texture.
5. Serve immediately.
