Oh honey, how I do love my manuka honey! I’ve been using the skincare line for close to a year now, and if one more person tells me I can’t possibly be old enough to have seen the Grateful Dead in concert back when Jerry Garcia was alive, I will promptly kiss them on the lips. Manuka honey is pretty exotic. Unlike those teddy bear filled containers you see at the supermarket, this stuff comes from New Zealand bees that pollinate the manuka bush. I’d always thought of manuka as a skin must-have, but my favorite TV doc was just explaining how it’s great for acid reflux, too. Who knew?
If you’re feeling urpy, you just need to spoon some raw manuka into your tea or just eat it by the spoon. And have you tried this stuff??? The taste is divine. I swoon after my daily two-tablespoon serving (which I’d probably still enjoy even if it wasn’t widely known for its powerful bioactivity.) I actually don’t get reflux very often”¦I thought it was because of my healthy diet but maybe I should be thanking my manuka. I’m pretty sweet on that stuff, if I didn’t mention that yet.
