Holiday Mint Margarita (Non-Alcoholic)

Margaritas are more than just a boozy drink you enjoy on a beach vacation. With mint on the minds of many during the holidays, you have all the reason you need to mix up a festive virgin version. You don’t need simple syrup or cash for the tip jar. Be your own bartender and make this honey-sweetened, citrus-spiked mint margarita to sip by the fire. So long, hot cocoa!

Ingredients

2 oz. honey
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
Ice

Directions

  1. Pour honey into a glass bowl. Place the bowl in a bath of warm water to allow the honey to melt slightly.
  2. Remove from water bath and add citrus juices. Whisk together and let cool.
  3. Add mint leaves and muddle.
  4. Add honey-citrus mixture and ice cubes to high-speed blender and process until slushy and ice is broken down.
  5. Pour margarita into a tall glass and garnish with additional mint leaves.  
  6. Serve over more ice and small candy canes, if desired.
