Non-Alcoholic Summer Sangria

by | Read time: 1 minute

Can a sweet party drink really fit into a healthy diet? Embrace the concept of balance, and it most certainly can! It also doesn’t hurt to make your own elixir and spread these good libations all around. If you’re up for it, omit the alcohol to cut down on sugar and calories. Next, choose fruits that are low in sugar, such as berries. It’s also a good idea to skip the sugar-bomb known as tonic water and swap it for seltzer. Finally, enjoy your summer sipper with a meal that provides ample fat and protein. This will help keep the glycemic load in check. Cheers to that!
