Ever spooned a mocha? A latte, maybe. You can sprinkle that thick layer of foam with cinnamon and scoop it up like ice cream. But a mocha is usually sip-only…until now. This mint-infused mocha chia pudding is 100% spoonable. The chia seeds expand in a bed of almond milk and mocha-flavored protein powder to form a creamy, anytime dessert. The sweet treat is so addictive, you’ll want to spoon it again and again.
2 mint leaves (or 1 drop mint extract)
1 cup almond milk
1/2 scoop Designer Protein Natural 100% Whey Chocolate Mocha
3 Tbsp. chia seeds
Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
- In a blender, add mint and milk. Blend on high until mixture is completely incorporated.
- Add protein powder and chia seeds, and whip until well combined. Note: Before whipping, let the chia seeds soften in the mix and expand before sinking to the bottom.
- Pour mixture into ramekin or serving bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight, or until pudding has set.
- It can be served textured, or blend again until completely smooth.
