Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In frying pan over high heat, add sesame seeds and toast for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to bowl, add salt and set aside.
  2. In frying pan, pour honey and bring to boil. Simmer until foam forms.
  3. Using spatula remove foam and reduce heat. Simmer until temperature reaches 260 degrees F.
  4. Add sesame seeds back to pan and stir for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove pan from heat and add zest of lemon over mixture.
  6. Line 8-1/2-inch pan with parchment paper and pour mixture.
  7. Using spoon, evenly spread mixture across pan. Cool for 20 minutes.
  8. Once hardened, cut into bars.
