Alternatives aren’t all bad. For instance, when you’re injured, choosing scaled-down exercises or alternative movements is smart. Here’s another smart alternative: using steamed sweet potato when you want to cut down on added sugar. The vitamin-A-rich veggie naturally sweetens this batch of brownies and even lends a fudge-like consistency without eggs, gluten or milk. The alternative has officially become first pick.
