For an upgraded spread that will really excite your taste buds, try this homemade sunflower seed butter. Almost as convenient as picking a jar off of a shelf but much healthier, this nut-free butter is made with only four wholesome ingredients and whipped up in your food processor. Dig in!
Makes 1 cup
Ingredients
1-1/2 cup roasted and salted sunflower seeds
3 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
- In food processor, grind sunflower seeds. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth (or until you reach the consistency you prefer).
- Store in glass container in fridge.
