There’s nothing wrong with a classic, but let’s face it – you can do better than peanut butter. Whether you’re making a sandwich with fruit jam or snacking on apple slices and celery sticks, conventional peanut butter is so been there, ate that. For an upgraded spread that will really excite your taste buds, try this homemade sunflower seed butter. Almost as convenient as picking a jar off of a shelf but much healthier, this nut-free butter is made with only four wholesome ingredients and whipped up in your food processor. Dig in!
Makes 1 cup
- In food processor, grind sunflower seeds. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth (or until you reach the consistency you prefer).
