2 Tbsp. Nutiva Organic Hazelnut Spread with Cocoa
1 Tbsp. cacao powder
1 Tbsp. maple syrup or raw honey
1 Tbsp. canned coconut cream
1 avocado

  1. In a high-speed blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. (Alternatively, you can mash the avocado with a fork in a bowl, then add cacao powder and maple syrup or honey.)
  2. Adjust ingredients to taste, adding more cacao for chocolate flavor or more maple syrup or honey if you want it sweeter.
  3. Transfer to a small bowl and serve.

Liana’s tips:

  • The mousse stores well overnight, so prepare it as a snack for the next day.
  • Serve with fresh raspberries, strawberries or whole hazelnuts.
  • To enhance the flavor, add 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract.
  • Serve on top of ice cream or cupcakes.
